The Pietta™ 1858 Remington Revolver was one of the most popular side arms of the Civil War and was the last of the Remington percussion revolvers to be manufactured. This 1858 revolver pistol features a tapered octagon barrel, steel frame, brass trigger guard, 6-shot cylinder, fixed sights and two-piece walnut grips.
Popular for it’s ruggedness and solid frame the revolver’s ability to quickly change cylinders made the Remington Army Revolver a favorite of officers and infantry alike during the Civil War. More than 125,000 of these revolvers were produced by Remington.
