This calibration is especially efficient and cost-effective with the AMR thermal imaging target pads. Simply cut open the foil container, take the target pad, peel off the protective foil on the back, and place the target pad where you want it. Within a few minutes, the pad reaches its optimum calibration temperature of 38°C. Then, using the thermal imaging camera attached on the rifle, target the thermal pad and optimize the thermal view. Due to the round shape and small diameter of the pad, inadvertent shot discrepancies between bullet holes and geometric center of the pad can be optimally detected after 2-3 test shots.
